Abstract:

The 140 years of Romanian-Hellenic diplomatic relations represent a long journey the two countries have undertaken together, despite facing some temporary obstacles that led to the interruption of diplomatic relations for short periods of time. Generally speaking, the relations between Romania and Greece have been positive, with both being interested in exploring new opportunities for cooperation and becoming more actively involved in international issues that concern them directly. Since the end of communism, diplomatic relations between the two countries have intensified, and today they are stronger than ever.
